Mine waste deposit final closure
After operation, the tailings storage areas are covered by a final impermeable cover system. This is important for the protection of the environment by preventing the evaporation of tailings into the atmosphere or the infiltration of liquids (leaching) and oxygen (oxydation) of the ores. DRAINTUBE FTP provides rainwater drainage and impermeabilization of the final cover with a single product and a single installation.
This geocomposite results from the combination of DRAINTUBE with a polyethylene geofilm.
The needle-punched polyethylene geofilm on the underside of DRAINTUBE FTP limits the infiltration of rainwater through the final cover.
